Clergy (and chaplains in the military learning how to deal with other religions), a valuable asset is the Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets, by Barbara G. Walker, available at almost all libraries in the reference section. Its index on PDF can be had here: http://www.ascension-research.org/WEMS-5.pdf What Walker did is to organize alphabetically all religious info from all books written before 1300 AD, and thus be able to provide a reference to any individual saint, god, goddess, symbol, etc. I refer to this work as the Book of Barbara. I have called this book the "Cliff's Notes of the Religion Business."

Settlement Arrived At With SchoolDistrict in Pagan Discrimination Case (below, in LIFO).
Statement from Bowdon Elementary School, Carroll County School District, and members of the Turner Family Support Task Force as represented by Lady Liberty League, North Georgia Solitaries, Covenant of the Goddess, Dogwood Local Council, and Circle Sanctuary:
The Turner Family, Task Force, and School District wants Bowdon School to be a positive, supportive environment which fosters the emotional and educational growth of all students.
With education, cooperation, and open dialogue, all things are possible.
At times, a lack of life experience and/or other circumstances can make it difficult to perceive how words and actions might cause offense or upset. The parties involved acknowledge that words and deeds can be hurtful even without the intent of making them so.
In an effort to reach a positive and collaborative resolution to recent events, an alliance of the parties involved has come to pass which will set the stage for future education for school staff, students, and parents on the topic of equality and respect for all students and families in the Carroll County School System.
First, a sincere apology for recent events and misunderstandings has been given by School Administration and accepted by the family.
Second, the Bowdon Elementary School guidance Counselor will educate staff and students about honoring and accepting the differences that make us individuals.
Third, procedures have been put in place to ensure classroom activities don't alienate students. As part of this, the administration and teachers will have yearly training about the District's Code of Ethics and the responsibilities of each staff member to preserve the integrity of every students' rights.
We appreciate the hard work and open dialogue of all the parties involved to create this positive resolution. The Turner children will return to school. The Carroll County School District will continue to strive to be a place that fosters the emotional and educational growth of all students regardless of religion, race, national origin, gender or disability.

UPDATE:
Statement from NGS, CoG, DLC, LLL, Circle Sanctuary:
Over the past week, a Task Force has been arduously working with the Turner family to assess the situation and generate a clear plan of action. Included on the Turner Family Support Task Force are a variety of professionals, Pagan clergy and other advisors who have committed much time and energy to standing with the Turners in their time of need.
The North Georgia Solitaries have welcomed the Turners into their Yule celebrations and continue to provide the much needed community support through volunteerism and the Pagan Assistance Fund. The Lady Liberty League, Circle Sanctuary and Covenant of the Goddess (Dogwood Local Council) have been relentlessly coordinating efforts to provide advice and guided action; all of which will hopefully lead to a peaceful resolution and a future of fair and equal treatment in the school and school system.
However, the Task Force and the Turners are not alone in this struggle, as is shown by the immense demonstration of Pagan solidarity through the Turner Family Support Facebook page, phone calls to the lead organizations and a variety of other postings on the internet. The countless comments and heartfelt words of support have generated an immeasurable bounty of strength from which the family is able to draw.
And, the support is not limited to the Pagan community nor to Georgia or to the USA. The Task Force has heard from a number of non-Pagans who are concerned about the Turners situation and from members of the international Pagan community. The results have been unexpected and awe-inspiring.
This support, your support, has now become a vital part of the struggle toward tolerance for this case and into the future. And, at this time of year- a time of peace, giving and togetherness - we ask that all of you continue to stand together with each other, the Turners and the Task Force by continuing these efforts. The Task Force will provide updates as the process progresses.
Please send your prayers, your energy, and your personal messages through the Facebook page. They are being read by the Turners throughout each day. And, secondly, if you would like to contribute funds to help alleviate the financial burdens that have been placed on the family, please make your donations via the Pagan Assistance Fund, operated by the North Georgia Solitaries through the Church of the Spiral Tree. Donations are tax-deductible and will be used to offset a variety of expenses such as gas, child care, home-schooling supplies, and other related family expenses as they arise.
It is often said that A little bit, goes a long way - whether that be a dollar, a prayer or a words of peace. The Turner family is grateful for all of it.

Operation Circle Care contents are always made up of personal gifts donated by the Pagan community. Ways to Help:

(3) DONATE FUNDS: In addition to contributions of items, funds are needed to help us cover postage, shipping, printing, and other costs related to supporting our Pagan Military members with the Yuletide Care Packages program and other endeavors. Obituary of Priestess Grace: Priestess Grace of Tijuana, born 50 years ago in Guadalajara, died of a heart attack due to smoking cigarettes on Friday, Sept. 8, 2011. A behind-the-scenes companion to religious leaders, including myself, she had a rough life, the past 5 years going from having above-average intelligence all the way down to having the mind of a 7-year-old. It is suspected that she might have had Mad Cow Disease.
Her small joys in life near the end were an occasional game of chance (the street slot machines), a soft drink, or her beloved cigarettes. She also loved taking care of several foster children whose parents were in prison or drug rehab. Her wife Gabrielle (Gabi) helped.
She is missed, but did want to die so that her suffering would be over. In Ancient Paganism, suicide would require permission from the Clergy, plus their supervisors. She never asked, but we would have given permission. I lived with her twice as a roommate, and once had sex, her idea, she being gay. She said it was a gift for me. She was like that.
She is survived by children, grandchildren, dozens of stepchildren, her wife Gabi, and many friends including myself. She knew God, but was not considered an ILF (Intelligent Life Form), and so will come back to Earth, probably already being born.
Address by the Ancient Pagan Bishop, July 5, 2011:
Regarding my writings and philosophies, and my charity work, the short cut is to dismiss me as mistaken or even a lunatic, but that does not allow you to deal with reality, which is what I present. It is more comfortable for you to believe what you were taught, and what you want to hear, instead of dealing with reality and the real truth. Society is based upon lies which control people while telling them what they want to hear and believe. To become an Intelligent Life Form (ILF), one of very few on Earth, you must oppose society for its own good, seek and know the real truth as opposed to what the sheep are taught, and grow in the dissemination of your knowledge to others. The road will not be smooth, but there will be signposts. This is one of those.
You will be accused of the crime of Paranoia, along with every mental diagnosis in the whole alphabet soup book of abusive mental health "illness" witch-hunting. Why not be a witch, per se? A handful of the "Harry Potter" spells actually work, but not many. Mostly that is fiction.
If you graduate to an Intelligent Life Form, you will be ascended, giving you about 25,000 more years of life on this planet, with full knowlege of all mistakes that you made inprevious lifetimes, and all knowledge gained therein. Tempting proposition. Being rich is not a crime, but greed is. Failure to share.
Your task is to make life better for everyone, and in so doing, better for yourself as well. You are not to lie, cheat, steal, be violent, or tolerate hatred. you may not even hate your enemies. This is a network of the people (and other beings) who control those people who control Earth. Or, at least we try to advise them.
Welcome to Ancient Paganism, the roots of all religions, and the pentagon center of the Pagan Star. Your assignment is to form a gnosis group of your own. It is okay to use any legal and legitimate force to accomplish what you must, but use only the minimum amount of force necessary. Do not break any laws, and above all, do not blow your cover. Have no contact ever with any of us religious leaders. Our network is in the millions, pretending to be good Catholics, Jews, and even atheists. We work at all jobs, including nuclear scientist, doctor, judge, military general. You will meet many like you, and there is no leader, just guidance.
We have principles, not principals. Not everything I say or write should be taken at face value, because I am often facetious, humorous, or even telling you a lie to make you learn something. You know inside you what is right. Do not listen to me or anyone else. God dwells within. Interesting creature, God. Met It only once. Changed my life forever. All ILFs get to meet God, in-person.

Pagans across the United States and in other parts of the world are remembering and honoring Pagan Military Dead this Memorial Day weekend with ceremonies, gravesite visits, meditations, and internet tributes.
The Pagan Military Association is putting out the call for the sharing of remembrances, links, photos, videos, and other honorings of Pagan Military Dead on its newly launched social networking site on Facebook: http://tiny.cc/PaganMilitaryAssociation
Also welcome are posts describing individual and group remembrances of Pagan Military Dead being held this weekend.
The Pagan Military Association provides information and support to Pagans who are serving and who have served in the military, as well as to their families and friends. This network is open to Pagans of many paths and organizational affiliations, in the United States and other countries.
Circle Sanctuary's military ministers are honoring the Pagan Military Dead with Memorial Day rites in several locations. David and Jeanet Ewing of Virginia and Debby Morris of Maryland will be at Arlington National Cemetery in the Washington, DC area doing ceremonial remembrances at the pentacle-inscribed grave markers of Pagan Military Dead there. David Sassman will be doing remembrances in his home state of Indiana.
Michelle Boshears of Georgia will be doing a Memorial Day Rite of Remembrance at Veterans Ridge of Circle Cemetery. This ceremony, open to those taking part in this weekend's Sacred Fire Circle at Circle Sanctuary land, will include a special salute to each of the eight Pagan Military veterans whose cremains have been interred at the cemetery and marked with a VA-issued pentacle marker. This ceremony is the fifth consecutive Pagan Memorial Day Rite of Remembrance held at Circle Cemetery since the first pentacle markers honoring Pagan Military Dead were dedicated there on Memorial Day, 2007.
As Memorial Day weekend began, singer-songwriter Celia of New Mexico visited the Pagan veterans' gravesites at Circle Cemetery, including that of Sgt. Patrick Stewart, the Pagan hero honored in her song, "Symbol." During Celia's visit, she filmed a short tribute to Sgt. Stewart with Selena Fox, which was just released: http://youtu.be/VFkC8UB66MI
A tribute to Pagan Military Dead by Selena will be in the first part of her upcoming appearance on internet radio with Robby Wrench. Memorial Day Magic will be aired on Monday night, May 30 at 7 pm CDT:

In addition, Selena Fox will be facilitating a Circle of Remembrance for the Pagan Military Dead on Memorial Day morning at 9:30 am EDT at Michigan Pagan Fest at the Wayne County Fairgrounds near Detroit. This rite, as well as the festival itself, is open to Pagans of many traditions. At gate registration is an option for those who wish to attend.
http://www.mipaganfest.org
This Memorial Day morning rite will include the reading of names of Pagan Military Dead and this blessing by Selena: "As part of Memorial Day observances this year, may we remember and honor the Pagan Military Dead, send comfort and support to their loved ones, and appreciate the contributions of Pagans in the military, living and dead, for their service. May we join together in the quest for a healthier world, with liberty and justice for all."

Ancient Pagans of San Diego are attempting to arrange a traditional liturgy of bonfire, nude dancing, and getting drunk on beer. This is a liturgical process which eventually became the liturgies of all other religions. Several times a year, there was an adult party afterwards, including group sex. Methinks even that may be legal nowadays. Dangerous, however. Let us limit this to dancing nude while drunk. Do we believe in God? We believe in all the gods, including ByteMan, the god of computers. I Googled San Diego Ancient Pagans and got good stuff, but when I Googled "San Diego Ancient Pagan Bishop", up popped my autobiography at www.NZ9F.com/R. Church boy gets victimized, becomes atheist, becomes atheist minister, gets promoted to bishop and is still atheist, runs into God, and continues to promote Atheism as far more truthful than what religion teaches, despite having absolute proof of God.
