I started Alpine Air Conditioning and Heating almost 40 years ago. I'm an engineer, not a contractor, and recently designed a new type of A/C system twice as efficient as anything else on the market. It's inexpensive, can be added to present systems without replacing the whole thing, and works anywhere the humidity is low, such as the West Coast, more than 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. I call it EAR, for Evaporation Assisted Refrigeration.
