This is an explanation of how this site is arranged, for navigational purposes. Updated Nov. 28, 2011. Contains all pages which existed at that time.There is a huge (one year) backlog in cataloging. You may also find the quick-access button farms useful, on Home Page and on Page.

The two right columns

The Aqua Stripe on the extreme right, a vertical column, takes up space, serving only to make navigation and viewing on a Blackberry, i-Phone, or other mobile device easier. It also permits viewing from a non-full screen without having to navigate horizontally. This is a site for use in the field (or on the sidewalk) using a two-inch screen.

The Pages Index is to its left, or to the right of here, the white vertical column, containing the website pages in order. Many pages also exist but are not shown. Subpages, for example, do not appear unless the page they belong to is clicked. So, if you are on Home Page, you get the sub-pages listed (Blog, Site Map, and the 7 pages of Archives). If you are clicked to another page, other than home, none of those sub-pages appear. To see them, click on Home Page. The order of all pages is here, including secret and restricted ones.

Listed Pages in the vertical white stripe bear the symbol @@ and are bold.

Black ink indicates a page.

Home Page contains some basic site info, such as the fact that unusual colors in the middle of text usually indicate web links. It has a few philosophical points, announcements, my introduction and photo, witty sayings, and then a bar to click on to get to my daily blog. You could have bypassed Home Page if you clicked on Blog in the white vertical column to the right, or the red box at the top ofHeader Page. Your first time thru, you do not know this, so you must read the Home Page info at least once. All of this is by design. At the bottom of Home Page is the Homeless Prayer, and an ad for Milwaukee Free University, which pays instructors to teach. This is also where various acknowledgements and thank-yous occur.

Blog Page contains my diary and latest works, in LIFO order, with the most recent at top, sort of like FaceBook. It continues backwards thru Archives 7, all the way to Archives 1. Before that, the story of the founding of this site can be had at Chapter 13, in the biography section, in chronological order rather than reverse order, to make it easier to read. Eventually, all of the archives will read in chronological order. The reason that they are in LIFO (reverse order) is so that you can read down it until you read it before, then stop. This is by design, and actually went into the designing of FaceBook itself. This website is used as an experimental prototype, not patentable, for ideas on the web. I feature an entire web page full of new web ideas at Page i, in Profit Section (Section A).

Articles Page lists the other articles that I have "recently" published, and links on how to get there, regardless of where that article was published. Not everything is on this site. Some articles could only be written if I gave the publisher exclusive rights, with no ability to republish by myself. I can, however, give you a link there. Other articles can only appear here, as they are far too controversial to be published by most media. This index page is not updated very often, so my most recent stuff is generally not on it. Look on Header Page or in my Blog.

Contact Page is for sending an e-mail or any other form of contact, giving you the requirements to do so. Fastest service is by e-mail to nz9f@hotmail.com. Slowest way is by telephone (one month) or by the Post Office (two months). Contacting me on Facebook takes about a week or so. Hotmail, often just an hour or two.

Search Engine Page is the index of this site, including a full range of social service functions, links, and much more. You can spend all day on this one, a mini-Google. As this site is updated a lot, this page is often a month or more behind on getting a link. So, it is often necessary to use the links on the Header Page, Page Index strip to the right, or even on Articles Page. Sorry, but indexing has taken lots of time and I cannot keep up.

Service Ratings Page gives the criteria used to determine the worthiness of Nonprofit Organizations. A scale from 0% to 100% worthy is used.

Web Ratings Page gives the lists of nonprofits and their scores as to worthiness.

All Stars Page lists the most-worthy nonprofits, with links.

Shelter Index lists the San Diego Area homeless shelters, with descriptions, types of cases served, and web links.

Humor Section started out as a tool to prevent suicides among the homeless, and comes in several titles. The humor is very raunchy, and very adult, perfect for that audience.

SDHN is the San Diego Homeless News, which comes out the first Friday of every month, and the latest edition and archives are on pages here. The Police Brutality Page is also in this section.

My autobiography is on Page R, with other biographical sections as well, such as Page R2 because it does not all fit on a single web page. Q is reader questions, with T a child-safe version of the same. So many people wanted to read Chapter 13, my diary, that it, too, has its own page.

Discontinued Pages Section is as follows: AC is for Anonymous Contact, which does not work in this information paranoia age. SDSU is a section on San Diego State University, no longer used. RP is the Republican Propaganda Page, Vogue is the political party Victims of Greed and UnderEmployment, Ccon is the 2010 Comic-Con Convention in San Diego, My Photo is my Social Networking page, and Titter is another Social Networking page that is experimental.

A Section, intended for profit, has pages on Air Conditioning (A), Law, Publishing (P), Major Donations (Z),Media Wire Service (M and M2), Internet Solutions (i), Other Solutions (S), and sections on Tijuana (TJ) and San Diego (SD) tourism. Also Abandoned Page Thrift Store (TS), Web Sales (W) and a Cookbook.

B Section, for Public Service info, has compiled information on Soup Kitchens (B), Other Food (F), Depression Survival (D), How to Volunteer to Help (Help), Employment (E), Healthcare and Homeless Action (H), other info such as the locations and hours of the downtown toilets (else), Homeless Assembly Page (homeless), Homeless Intellectuals Program (HIP), and 3 pages of mind puzzles, called chess, IQ, and wit.

MFU is the Milwaukee Free University Home Page, and when you click on it, its many sub-pages then become visible. Two courses, the simple D4-100 homeless course and the more complicated D4-101 course are also listed on-line.

Formerly Called Section D, the Web Experiments Section has experimental web pages dealing with editorials, the Spanish language, You-Tube, UFO aliens, and even Windows and Word Alternative GIF numbers for reference. Another web-building reference section is a sub-page of the Index Page.
